Video Editing Apps

Standard

Hey guys! So, in today’s post, I’ll be showing you guys some of the best video editing apps I know of. So, let’s get started!

1. Splice
Splice is one if the very best ones I could suggest. Splice lets you choose photos/videos from your camera role. You can choose from a vast array of borders, choose your resolution, create transitions, etc. There is a “Title” selection in which you can create a slide with words on it. You can add music from your iPod, and also choose from sound effects they have available for you to use.
2. VidStitch
Vidstitch is another super cool app! You can put your video(s) into a frame along with photos, and play it all at the same time. It’s easy to use, and it’s fun to brag about- however, you cannot put your music in the background unless you upgrade the app.
3. Flipagram
Flipagram is the easy to use app that has become an instant hit. You can’t insert and videos, but add all the photos you want and Flipagram will make them into a slide show that’s short enough to post to Instagram. You can add your music, as well.

DIY Gift

Standard

Hi, guys! Sorry I haven’t posted in a bit.
Today I have for you: a DIY gift! (Duh.)

20140405-091553.jpg
Making these “Open When” envelopes is pretty self explanatory. Just decorate the envelope as you please, and fill with anything that goes with the “Open When”. For example: inside of an “Open When… You are Sad” you can write a letter to them inside, talking about how they could cheer up, suggesting cheer up songs, etc.
Have a lovely weekend!

Study Help

Standard

Hey guys! Samantha here, and this post is about- you guessed it, study help! A lot of kids have trouble studying, and lack motivation- believe me, you’re not the only one! These are some tips to get you on track and motivated to study for your test!

  1.  Chew gum! If you chew gum while studying, and chew the same flavor while taking your test, it is said that it will help you remember the things you read while studying, which equals major confidence on test day!
  2.  Listen to music! Rocking out to your favorite tunes while studying is a surefire way to get you pumped up to ace your test.
  3.  Join a study group! Not all schools have a study group available after school, but if your school does have one, joining is a great idea! You can also make your own with your friends!
  4.  Simply make yourself excited! Think of all the perks of getting a good grade on your test, or-even better- the bragging rights, because we all know that studying isn’t exactly a popular activity.
  5.  Make a song! This isn’t the option for everyone, and it is a bit strange, but putting the info you need to memorize into a catchy tune either of your own, or maybe of a song you like, is one way to memorize those facts!

Thanks for reading, guys! Happy early Friday!

DIY Strapless Dress

Standard

Hi! This is my first post since Christmas Eve! Ahhhhh!

So, today I wanted to share something DIY with you guys… A DIY dress! Cool, right?

Okay, you’ll need:

  • 1 Large T-Shirt
  • Decorative buttons, fabric markers, etc. (optional)

So let’s get started!

  1. Decorate the front of your shirt! (optional)
  2. First, you’ll want to pull the neck of the shirt up your body, so you are wearing the shirt but your arms aren’t in the sleeves.
  3. Next, you’ll pull one sleeve across your chest and tuck the end inside the neck, towards the middle. Try to keep it nice and wrinkle-free! (Left or right, doesn’t matter)
  4. Then, do the same with the other sleeve.

There you go! You have a beautiful-practically free- strapless dress! (I’ll include pictures of my own results down below!)
